
Tipperary senior football boss Philly Ryan has died at the age of 57.
The Clonmel Commercials man is believed to have passed away after collapsing this morning.
He took over the reigns at the Premier County in August 2024 having previously lead the county’s minor and under 21 teams.

His club have paid tribute, calling him a genuine, grounded, and generous man, whose humour and kindness left a lasting impression.
Tipperary GAA also commented on his passing, calling his death a “great blow to Tipperary Football”.
