The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Alex Antetokounmpo to a two-way NBA contract, joining his older brothers Giannis and Thanasis. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, this marks the first time in league history that three siblings are on active roster contracts with the same team.
Alex, 24, has built his career across Europe and the G League, most recently appearing with PAOK and Aris in Greece. His European stints also included brief periods with Podgorica in Montenegro and Mazeikiai in Lithuania.
In the G League, Alex spent two seasons with the Wisconsin Herd, averaging 5.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 22.3 minutes per game in the 2023–24 season.
The younger Antetokounmpo brings size and athleticism to Milwaukee’s roster. At 6-foot-7, he has experience both inside and on the perimeter, adding depth to a team already featuring Giannis as a two-time MVP and Thanasis as a defensive contributor.
The two-way deal allows Alex to split time between the Bucks and Wisconsin Herd, giving him an opportunity to gain NBA experience while continuing his development.
