
Former Republic of Ireland international Andy Boyle has announced his retirement from professional football.
The centre back landed four league titles and two FAI Cups during his time at Dundalk across two different spells.
He also plied his trade in England and Scotland where he made appearances with Preston North End, Doncaster, Dundee FC, and Ross County.

The 34 year old also represented his country in a 1-0 friendly defeat against Iceland in 2017.
In a statement for his current club Waterford, Boyle says it’s been a hell of a journey.
