Abbeydorney defeated Tralee Parnells to claim top spot in Group C of the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Hurling Championship.
A 5-17 to 1-13 victory means Causeway go through as runners-up.
The sides shared 4 wides early on, Abbeydorney responsible for 3 of them. It was the 9th minute before the opening score arrived, an Abbeydorney point through Oisin Maunsell. Michael O’Leary then doubled that advantage. Abbeydorney extended their lead to 5 by the quarter hour mark. By the 18th minute it was 7 nil.
