I was lucky enough to experience plenty of highs, plus a few lows, covering Gareth Southgate and his men in Russia at my SEVENTH World Cup finals.

There was Harry Kane’s last-gasp goal against Tunisia and the historic shootout win over Colombia as the Three Lions zoomed into the latter stages.
I was even in the right place to snap Lionel Messi running straight at me after scoring an amazing goal for Argentina in St Petersburg.
A memorable tournament brought some funny pictures from the training camp in Repino and Southgate’s customary celebrations after each of England’s victories.
And I even got to catch up with an old friend in Moscow, where former England skipper Terry Butcher was cheering on the Three Lions against Colombia while working for radio.
