MYLES LEWIS-SKELLY’S mum leapt up with joy as her son made his Champions League debut for Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta‘s men comfortably beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 in their opening home European tie of the season on Tuesday night.
English midfielder and left-back Lewis-Skelly, 18, made his first Gunners appearance off the bench at the end of their 2-2 draw with Manchester City last month.
Three days later he started in Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Bolton in the Carabao Cup.
But it was not until Tuesday evening when he got a taste of Champions League football at the Emirates.
Lewis-Skelly replaced Bukayo Saka in stoppage time and had 60 seconds to soak in the atmosphere before the whistle was blown.
