GOOD MORNING FOOTY FANS
Eric Garcia has joined Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud on the list of possible big-name January transfers.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits Spain defender Garcia could rejoin Barcelona.
The Spanish giants are trying to raise funds for transfer window dealings, including luring the 20-year-old back.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will fight to keep Giroud after talks with Juventus stalled.
The France striker, 34, also being eyed by West Ham and AC Milan, is reportedly unhappy at Juve offering him only a six-month contract.
And Blues’ boss Frank Lampard is also said to be reluctant to lose Milan loan-target Fikayo Tomori.
That’s despite Chelsea hoping to raise funds and clear the decks a little for their reputed main target – West Ham’s versatile England ace Declan Rice.
The Blues have reportedly made “further enquiries” for the 22-year-old this month.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are said to share with Ozil a “willingness” for the ex-Germany midfielder, 32, to sign for Fernerbahce.
And Manchester United Utd are tipped to compete with Liverpool for Derby 16-year-old Kaide Gordon.
