The outpouring of relief here is extraordinary. It really feels like Tottenham have won a trophy.

Spurs players celebrate with whatever energy they have left. The sense of relief is palpable. Everton did very, very little to trouble them this afternoon and for that they should be grateful but they also found a way to win when it was most needed and deserve some credit for that.

The whistle goes and Spurs are staying up, West Ham are down.

90+11’ – Gray cuts out a cross from the right. Everton take the corner short and are unable to fashion a real opportunity.

90+10’ – We play on but Everton could be here for another 100 minutes and not score.

90+9’ – Tarkowski heads over and home fans want the full-time whistle as we enter added time at the end of added time.

90+8’ – One more minute to go and Kinsky finally makes a save. It’s a brilliant one, too. George, who has been Everton’s only threat, cuts in from the left and fires a swerving attempt towards the goal. Kinsky, at full stretch, gets his right glove to it. And that should be the lot once this corner is cleared.

90+7’ – Two minutes to go, Kinsky boots a free-kick long and the home fans are beginning to celebrate.

90+5’ – Everton are committing some men forward and Alcaraz heads a half chance wide following Coleman’s outswinging cross from the right. There is a huge sigh of relief when the ball drifts off target.
