Rockets vs. Wizards injury report for Wednesday

The Washington Wizards will visit the Houston Rockets on Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET with several key players sidelined.

Sharife Cooper and Jamir Watkins are out on G League assignments, while Bilal Coulibaly is unavailable with a left calf contusion.

Alex Sarr leads the Wizards with 18.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, while CJ McCollum adds 16.8 points and 3.5 assists. Kyshawn George is contributing 15.8 points per contest, and Khris Middleton provides 11.9 points alongside 3.7 assists.

Washington is struggling through a 1-10 start, including a 1-5 road record.

The Rockets also face injury issues, with Fred VanVleet (right knee, ACL repair), Dorian Finney-Smith (left ankle, post-surgery), and two-way players Isaiah Crawford and Kevon Harris out of action.

Houston’s scoring is led by Kevin Durant, averaging 24.8 points with 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists, and Alperen Sengun, who contributes 22.8 points and 9.9 rebounds. Amen Thompson adds 17.6 points per game, while Jabari Smith Jr. is averaging 14 points and 5.9 rebounds.

The Rockets hold a 6-3 record with a 4-2 mark on the road.

The Wizards’ recent performances highlight the challenge of winning on the road under a depleted roster, having lost six of their last six contests, including an overtime loss to Detroit.

Meanwhile, the Rockets are entering this matchup on a four-game stretch with three wins.
