And according to Spanish outlet Sport, Los Blancos are also keen on the highly-regarded ace.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are top of La Liga but their performances have been far from convincing – particularly in Europe.

Doubts have been cast about Brazilian holding midfielder Casemiro after the humiliating 3-0 defeat at Paris Saint-Germain.

And Chelsea may face a fight to prevent Kante from joining Eden Hazard in the Spanish capital.

Juventus boss Sarri reportedly believes he can land Kante for just £70million and he would join a star-studded midfield.

The Turin club already have Aaron Ramsey as well as the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi and Adrien Rabiot.

Kante has continued to play further up the pitch under Frank Lampard after fans criticised Sarri for using Jorginho as his linchpin.

But the former Napoli star – who followed his former boss from Serie A – has emerged as one of the most effective midfielders in the Premier League.

Stamford Bridge fans have a new found love for Jorginho but would hate to lose terrace favourite Kante.

The ultra-fit playmaker scored a deflected goal in the win over Southampton to keep up a decent start for the Blues despite their transfer ban.
