It’s been a mixed day for Irish competitors at the Welsh Open qualifiers.
Defending champion Jordan Brown was beaten 4-3 by Mitchell Mann.
Michael Judge went down 4-1 to Mark Williams.
But Fergal O’Brien progressed to the main draw with a 4-1 win over Stephen Maguire.
This evening, Mark Allen goes up against Ken Doherty.
