Welcome to Man Utd vs West Ham

Fresh from their EFL Cup success, Man Utd welcome West Ham to Old Trafford hoping to get one step closer to booking their place in another Wembley final.

The Red Devils will be without Christian Eriksen (ankle), Donny van de Beek (knee) and Anthony Martial (hip) due to their ongoing injury issues, while Fred and Luke Shaw are doubts and probably will not be risked for this one.

Erik ten Hag is expected to rotate his squad with Tom Heaton and Jack Butland battling to replace David De Gea in goals.

Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia are expected to be recalled to the side for this FA Cup fifth round tie.

Marcel Sabitzer and Scott McTominay will be hoping for starts as ten Hag may well look to rest Casemiro and with Fred struggling with injury, bringing the pair in would allow him to keep his squad fresh.

Bruno Fernandes is expected to start again this evening, while Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho will be pushing for starts also.

West Ham will be without Lucas Fabianski and Vladimir Coufal, with the former sustaining a fractured cheekbone and eye socket in their last game against Nottingham Forest.

Kurt Zouma and Maxwel Cornet are back in training after recovering from injury, but this game may come too soon for the pair.

Coufal’s injury is likely to see Ben Johnson switch to right-back with David Moyes recalling either Aaron Creswell or Emerson on the opposite side of the defence.

Alphonse Areola is likely to start in goals due to Lucas Fabianski’s injury.

Danny Ings is cup-tied having played for Aston Villa in the FA Cup this season, so it is likely that Michail Antonio or Gianluca Scamacca will start up top with Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma making up the front three.
