He featured 29 times in the top-flight with incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag’s Ajax just pipping them to top spot by two points.

Sangare has contributed five goals and assists from his role in front of the defence and could now be heading to pastures new.

Inside Futbol are claiming that Liverpool are now targeting the Ivory Coast international.

They state that Jurgen Klopp has been scouting Sangare for several weeks.

Now he is plotting a swoop for the ace as he aims to strengthen his midfield before next season.

However, the Reds will face competition for his signature from two of their domestic rivals.

Steven Gerrard is also allegedly keen to bring him to Aston Villa.

And big-spending Newcastle are also believed to be interested.

But previous reports have also linked Chelsea with the star.

Sangare is under contract at PSV until 2025.

That means the club are under no intense pressure to sell this summer.

He arrived in Holland in 2020 following a five-year spell in France with Toulouse.
