Kerry’s Shane Conway has been nominated for Joe McDonagh Player Of The Year.

The Lixnaw hurler starred for the Kingdom throughout the competition, including scoring 13 points in the victory at Westmeath.

Earlier this year Conway was named Electric Ireland Higher Education Rising Star Hurler of the Year following his displays for UCC.

The other nominees for Joe McDonagh Player Of The Year are Paddy Purcell of Laois and Killian Doyle from Westmeath.
