Brandon Ingram scored 25 points as the Toronto Raptors (6-5) defeated the Brooklyn Nets (1-10) 119-109 at Barclays Center on Tuesday night. Immanuel Quickley added 24 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, to help Toronto extend its recent winning streak.
Scottie Barnes recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Jakob Poeltl contributed 12 points and 10 boards. The Raptors shot 49.5% from the field and out-rebounded Brooklyn 50-36, continuing their strong road performance.
Toronto led 60-52 at halftime and pushed the lead to 14 early in the third quarter. Brooklyn closed the gap to 83-81 late in the period, but Toronto responded with three straight baskets, including a buzzer-beating floater from Jamal Shead.
Quickley sparked a 7-0 run with a 3-pointer, giving the Raptors a 102-89 advantage with 7:41 remaining. Toronto has now won its last three visits to Barclays Center.
Nic Claxton and Michael Porter Jr. each scored 21 points for Brooklyn, which has lost 10 of its first 11 games and remains winless in six home games. Terance Mann added 16 points, while Noah Clowney contributed eight rebounds.
The victory marks Toronto’s fifth win in six games and demonstrates strong balance, with contributions from both starters and bench players. Jamal Shead chipped in six points, and Collin Murray-Boyles added six points off the bench.
Toronto will continue its five-game road trip in Cleveland on Thursday, while Brooklyn visits Orlando on Friday, seeking its first home victory of the season.
