Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 28 points and 11 assists in just three quarters as the Oklahoma City Thunder (11-1) dominated the Golden State Warriors (6-6) 126-102 at Paycom Center on Tuesday night. Chet Holmgren added a perfect 23 points and 11 rebounds, going 9-for-9 from the field.

Holmgren also made both of his 3-pointers and all three free throws, while Isaiah Joe scored 18 and Ajay Mitchell added 17 for the league-leading Thunder. Oklahoma City improved to 5-0 at home this season despite missing defensive stopper Lu Dort.

Golden State struggled offensively, with Stephen Curry returning from illness to score 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting. Jonathan Kuminga led the Warriors with 13 points, and Draymond Green was called for a personal foul and technical in the second quarter, fueling the Thunder’s 21-point lead.

The Thunder led 63-44 at halftime, with Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 15 and Holmgren 11 on perfect shooting. Oklahoma City extended the lead to 107-72 by the end of the third quarter, effectively putting the game out of reach.

Gilgeous-Alexander energized the crowd with a layup drawing contact from Green, and the Thunder finished with a balanced attack that frustrated Golden State’s perimeter shooters. Oklahoma City shot 50.6% from the field and hit 44.4% of 3-pointers.

The Warriors fell to 1-6 on the road while the Thunder extended their streak to 11 wins in 12 games, maintaining the league’s top record. Golden State will visit the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, and Oklahoma City hosts the Los Angeles Lakers.
