The draws have been made for the County Intermediate and Junior Hurling Championships.
The intermediate championship will be contested by 11 teams this year.
There are 3 preliminary round games,
St Brendans B v Tralee Parnells
Abbeydorney B v Crotta B
Ballyheigue B v Causeway B
All those games are penciled in for Tuesday, August 17th.
5 teams automatically go into the quarterfinals and the winners of the 3 preliminary games will join them to form the last 8. That draw is as follows:
Winner of Ballyheigue B/Causeway B v Lady’s Walk
Lixnaw B v Kilgarvan
Kenmare v Kilmoyley B
Winner of Abbeydorney B/Crotta B v Winner of St Brendans B v Tralee Parnells
Those quarter finals are scheduled for Saturday, August 28th.
The 2020 Junior Hurling Championship will be concluded before the 2021 championship begins
St Pats and Duagh will play the semi final on Wednesday, August 11th. The winner will then face Ballyheigue B in the final on Saturday August 21st.
6 teams will compete in the 2021 Junior Championship
2 quarter final pairings of Parnells B v Duagh and Dr Crokes B v Ballyheigue C will take place on Saturday August 28th.
The winners of those two games will face each other in the semi-finals, with Causeway C and St Pats meeting in the other semi-final. Those semi finals are down for decision on Sunday, September 12th with the Junior County Final to take place the following weekend, on Saturday the 18th.
