  • 41. Brighton 0-2 Arsenal

The corner was floated in by Bukayo Saka, and headed away by a Brighton defender, but only as far as Martin Odegaard.

The Norweigan hits it with something of a miss-kick into the ground, but it loops over the goalkeeper and into the net.

He celebrates in traditional ice-cool fashion, by pretending to score a free-throw.

    Swish.

  • 39. Brighton 0-2 Arsenal

And that corner is SCORED by none other than Martin Odegaard!

  • 38. Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

A note on Aaron Ramsdale, who is just signalling to Mikel Arteta that he may have tweaked something in his hamstring.

  • 23. Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

So nearly so good from Arsenal.

And it is mesmeric from Martin Odegaard.

Martinelli played the ball into the Norweigan, and made the run past him towards the goal, before Odegaard does a dragback and plays a nutmeg pass back to the Brazilian.

He looks across goal for Nketiah, but it is cut out at the last.

    Zinchenko almost makes it two!
The defendding is a bit slack from Brighton so far, something we don’t say often about them.

The ball is played through to Zinchenko inside the box, who turns brilliantly before getting a shot off, but it is saved by Sanchez.

Arsenal have never lost this season after scoring first, and have only drawn once… Just saying…
