MOHAMED SALAH has reportedly emerged as a top target for Barcelona who are weighing up a possible summer swoop for the Liverpool star.
The 29-year-old faces an uncertain future at Anfield with the Egypt international tied down at the club until 2023.
It’s been alleged that the winger is holding out for £500,000-a-week and the Reds aren’t willing to match his demands.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed that the Merseyside outfit have done all they can to keep the ex-Chelsea man.
However Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas scoffed at his remarks in an indication the two parties are no closer to reaching a deal.
It was revealed earlier this month how the former Roma marksman was open to a switch to the Nou Camp at the end of the season.
And Mundo Deportivo have now stated that the Blaugrana could make a move for Salah if the opportunity arrives in the upcoming transfer window.
They state they are keeping tabs on his contract stand-off, though he is not their No1 priority.
The report declared that Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Erling Haaland is the club’s main target.
But should the Norwegian starlet join Manchester City or another club, Salah is next in line for the LaLiga giants.

Xavi is a huge admirer of Salah and is said to be of the belief he can play in the No9 role at the Nou Camp.
Salah has been in inspired form for the Reds this season – chipping in with 28 goals and ten assists in 36 games in all competitions.
Bayern Munich marksman Robert Lewandowski is also reported to be a target for Barcelona with a four-year contract said to be on the table.
Meanwhile L’Equipe claim Barca have made a move to bring Kylian Mbappe to the club with president Joan Laporta doing all he can to sign him.
And even though Mbappe favours a switch to Real Madrid, he will listen to the approach from the Catalan club.
Citizens winger Riyad Mahrez has also been contacted by Barcelona amid speculation surrounding his future at the Etihad.
