GOOD MORNING ARSENAL FANS

England have qualified for the Euro 2020 final after beating Denmark at Wembley.

The Danes opened the scoring with Mikkel Damsgaard’s spectacular free-kick on 30 minutes.

But the Three Lions equalised just nine minutes later thanks to an own goal by Danish skipper Simon Kjaer.

The game went to extra-time where Gareth Southgate’s men earned a controversial penalty when Raheem Sterling went down inside the area.

Harry Kane took the spot-kick but Kasper Schmeichel saved down at his bottom left corner with a spectacular lunge.

The ball rolled back towards Kane who hit the back of the net in the 14th minute of extra-time.

England are going to meet Italy this Sunday at Wembley in their first final since winning the World Cup in 1966.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly ready to complete a deal for Anderlecht star Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Lokonga is said to have signed a five-year contract with the Gunners and will become manager Mikel Arteta’s first signing of the summer.

The North Londoners have agreed a £15million fee plus add-ons with the Belgian outfit, with negotiations in the final stages and a medical still to be completed.

But it is only the finer details of the deal that need to be thrashed out and the midfielder should be an Arsenal player soon, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

And Manchester City are reportedly planning a last-minute bid for Ben White, who has been linked with a £50million move to Arsenal.

The Gunners are said to have already agreed terms with White and the deal was supposed to be completed when he returns from Euro 2020 with England.

But City are closely monitoring developments with the Brighton star, according to talkSPORT.

Aside from City, Arsenal will also have to fend off interest from London rivals Chelsea and Everton.

But the Gunners are ‘confident’ they will complete the signing of White nevertheless.

That is according to transfer guru Romano, who claims the North Londoners are not giving up on the 23-year-old.

Romano reports that personal terms have already been agreed between Arsenal and the centre-back.

The Seagulls reportedly want £50million for the England international.
