Good morning Arsenal fans,

Arsenal’s European campaign is set to get back underway today with the Europa League last 16 draw taking place at lunchtime.

The Gunners made light work of the group stages and finished top, allowing them to avoid the European playoff rounds.

But with those concluding yesterday, Arsenal know they go into the pot today and could draw any of the sides who won their Europa League playoffs, with the exception of Manchester United.

They cannot draw the Red Devils at this stage as the pair come from the same country, leaving the likes of Roma, Sevilla and Juventus lurking.

Elsewhere, a coach of hotshot Folarin Balogun believes the forward is on the warpath to becoming the best in the world.

Technical coach Saul Isaksson-Hurst works with the striker on his finishing and has seen the 21-year-old loanee take Ligue 1 by storm this season.

He has knocked in 15 league goals already and given Arsenal a dilemma on what to do in the summer when he is set to return to North London.

Isaksson-Hurst exclusively told SunSport: “[He] has an amazing mentality, he’s a real young gentleman, polite, very little ego and wants to play at the highest level. He wants to be one of the best strikers in the world.”

Arsenal are battling Newcastle and other European rivals in the race to sign Ivan Fresenda, reports say. The right-back has emerged as one of the top talents in LaLiga this season, with 12 appearances for Real Valladolid.

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are believed to also be in the race for the star.

Fresneda, 18, is now expected to sit down with his representatives at the end of the campaign and assess his options.
