DANI ALVES has revealed he has returned to Paris… but only in support of Neymar.

The Brazilian, 39, took to his Instagram to share two separate posts with him in a Paris Saint-Germain shirt.

The first, which saw Alves simply wearing a shirt with the backdrop of a blue sky, was simply captioned: “Againnnn here!!!”

This subsequently fuelled speculation he was returning to play for PSG after leaving Barcelona last month when his contract expired.

However, this was short-lived as another post followed which revealed that Alves was actually wearing the shirt of Neymar.

The second post to his account with 36.7 million followers was captioned: “Keep Calmmmm Ma people!!! Always with ma brotha!!”

In Portuguese, he added: “The Internet is fake. Don’t believe everything that comes out or what they show you. BEWARE.”

Alves played for PSG between 2017 and 2019, making 73 appearances and contributing to 25 goals.

Meanwhile, Neymar joined PSG for a then-world record fee of £198million in 2017.

He has made 144 appearances, scoring 100 goals and providing 60 assists.

However, the 30-year-old has reportedly been told he can leave the club this summer.

Chelsea are said to be interested, but a clause triggered at the start of July automatically renewed his contract until 2027 and now sees him earn £600,000 per week.

Despite winning Ligue 1, PSG’s early exit from the Champions League at the hands of eventual winners Real Madrid didn’t go down well, leading to Neymar and Lionel Messi being booed.
