Jimmy Butler may still be months away from returning to the court, but that did not stop the Golden State Warriors star from entertaining fans at the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival.

Butler, who underwent ACL reconstruction surgery in February, appeared on stage Friday and performed several songs while moving energetically around in front of the crowd.

At one point, the player joked about his injury while addressing the audience.

“Don’t show this to Steve Kerr; I got a torn ACL,” Butler said.

The veteran forward is reportedly not expected to return to basketball action until sometime after the middle of next season.

Butler has played 15 seasons for 5 teams, including the Heat and Bulls. He has averaged 18.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 907 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 6 All-Star games, and has won 1 Most Improved Player award.
