The Orlando Magic dominated the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, cruising to a 41-point victory in Philadelphia even though Jalen Suggs was thrown out late in the second quarter, according to ESPN.

The ejection came after a heated moment between big men Wendell Carter Jr. and Andre Drummond, who got into a shoving match.

As the situation escalated, Suggs sprinted in and shoved Drummond, which intensified the confrontation and led officials to hit Suggs with two technical fouls (Twitter video link), automatically removing him from the game.

Following the win, Suggs made it clear that he stood by his actions.

He said he would have reacted exactly the same way “10 times out of 10,” explaining that what set him off was seeing Drummond lift his fists as if preparing to swing at Carter.

“In my opinion, squaring up is a little too crazy,” Suggs said. “… I don’t regret it. I’ll stick up for my brother every time. I’ll take the fine. Don’t think I should’ve gotten ejected, but I’ll take it.”
