After undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in July, the Sixers star Paul George is now in the final stage of his debut process and will be re-evaluated later this week, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
However, the doctors demand more strength in his left quadriceps to support the knee before clearance.
George played 41 regular-season games last season, coming off an injury, and averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.8 steals while shooting 43% from the field in 32.5 minutes per game.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia franchise center Joel Embiid came up with some good news, as his left knee has no structural issues that might help him return on Friday when they face the Pistons.
Andre Drummond is also expected to start at center until Embiid is ready to return to the lineup.
