
Munster Council has confirmed that Kerry and Clare will be seeded in Thursday’s draw for the 2026 Munster Senior Football Championship.
The provincial council voted to postpone the new seeding system based on league position until 2027.

The controversial proposal, which would see Kerry and Cork both receive byes to separate semi-finals, was criticised by the other county boards.

It means the seeding will remain the same as before, with this year’s finalists receiving byes to the semi-finals.
