Munster last night confirmed a case of COVID-19 at the province.

An Academy player has been isolating since Monday after testing positive.

The unnamed player had been part of the wider training group, but hadn’t been at the High Performance Centre this week.

One senior player and three other Academy players are isolating having been deemed close contacts.

Munster are preparing to face Connacht in an ‘A’ game at Thomond Park on Saturday.
